What does scalable mean, and why is it important to be scalable?

Can I run Ultra-Staff using an internet connection?
Ultra-Staff can be run in a hosted environment with network administration handled externally. Users can log in to the host server via an internet connection to access Ultra-Staff and the database. Ultra-Staff can also be run in a client/server environment with users at remote offices accessing the application via an internet connection.

What is GAAP, and why is it important to us?
Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is the set of rules that govern accounting practices in the USA. For a company to withstand an audit, it must prove that all of its accounting transactions comply with GAAP. In addition, GAAP rules ensure that fraud is deterred through the accounting system as it imposes a series of checks and balances.
