Setting Up Alerts via Text/Online

I have many candidates that want to be alerted about jobs through social networking sites like Twitter® or text messaging. Is there an easy way to do this from staffing software?

Some staffing software vendors are offering tools within the application for job posting to social networking sites. Some sites require that you have an account. This account would have to be set up within your software so that you can automatically connect.

When you post, you may want to include a link to your website so that applicants can easily apply for specific jobs.

For text messaging, you will need to store cellular and carrier information within your staffing software application. This will be used to transmit text messages. If you are using a text messaging service, you will export the cellular # and message from your application and the service should be able to determine the carrier.
