Staffing World 2026 Recap from the ABD Team – See What You Missed!

Last week the ABD team attended the American Staffing Association’s Staffing World in Denver, Colorado! ABD was proud to be a Signature Sponsor of this year’s conference and has been a longtime sponsor and exhibitor. We thank everyone who stopped by our booth, including all of our customers and partners!
This year’s Staffing World was all about the future of staffing, powered by tech. Keynote speaker, Oz Pearlman, reminded us of the power of human connection and the importance of understanding human behavior which influences outcomes. The power of human connection isn’t leaving the staffing industry anytime soon, but what’s new is balancing the use of AI and automation to work more efficiently then we ever did before (without replacing the human touch).
We know there is a lot going on at Staffing World so if we missed you at the Automated Business Designs Booth, much of our conversation was about how to use AI as an enhancement, not a replacement, and how to use it safely. We also talked through the AI frills and demonstrated how staffing companies can experience a true AI-powered staffing solution in an all-in-one front, middle, and back office with general ledger.

Edgy AI Assistant is now available in Ultra-Staff EDGE Staffing Software and it offers relief from time-consuming everyday tasks. Edgy can help build pipelines, draft/send emails and texts, add reminders to your daily planner, record a credential, and more! Staffing attendees enjoyed chatting and speaking with him!
A Need to Eliminate Manual Work and Consolidate Tech Stacks
A common trend that came up in conversations is the need to cut out manual processes, but challenges are faced using multiple solutions. Front, Middle, and Back Office solutions with built-in AI are allowing staffing companies to consolidate their tech stack, eliminate duplicate data entry, and drive more results through a streamlined approach.
Using AI Safely to Mitigate Legal Risks, and Maintain Trust
AI was at the top of everyone’s mind, however, there are many concerns over protecting data, legal risks, and maintaining trust. Attendees picked up a copy of The Secure AI Playbook: Maximizing Value, Minimizing Risk from our booth. It is a simple, one page playbook on how you can use AI safely. Packing Hygiene Kits for the Homeless with ASA
We are proud to be members of the ASA Cares Social Responsibility Committee. During Staffing World, we took a break to help pack 1,000 Hygiene Kits for a local Homeless Shelter. Thank you to ASA for organizing this impactful project and providing the opportunity to give back during Staffing World!
EDGY, ULTRA, and Footballs
Have you met our mascot EDGY and his cousin ULTRA? We had mini EDGY and ULTRA giveaways at our booth and also footballs. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and grabbed their very own!
Catching Up with Partners and Industry Friends
One of our favorite things about Staffing World is seeing all of our industry friends and vendor partners! We are proud to sit on the board for the Illinois Search and Staffing Association, so it was great seeing all of our members who were able to attend Staffing World.
